We have residential and contractor pricing. So we’re just like any equipment rental store, we just make it easier because we come to your town. Our pricing is based on Xactimate insurance billing software prices. These are the prices that insurance companies pay for drying equipment, so you know the prices are fair! Restoration contractors rent in bulk and pay less than half of Xactimate pricing. Minimum of 100 pieces of equipment and 1 week minimum rental required.
If you have a ‘covered’ claim you can be reimbursed 100% for your rental equipment. In most cases your deductible must first be met for full reimbursement. However, in disaster situations you will be replacing sheetrock, flooring, and contents, so your deductible is usually met very easily.
SoloDry is an equipment rental and SUPPORT company.
When you use a restoration company you turn in an insurance claim and they perform services for you.
Conversely, the SoloDry residential client receives advice and coaching on how to dry thoroughly themselves. SoloDry offers video or live phone support to provide the confidence you need to SoloDry it.
SoloDry is ideal for the following scenarios:
SoloDry offers professional drying equipment just like the restoration companies use. But the major difference is that SoloDry representatives know how to use the drying equipment and are former restoration technicians. They can give you advice and ‘know how’ that you can’t get at the big box rental store.
There’s an app for that! More importantly water damage guidelines are outlined in the S-500 Water Damage Standard. The S-500 is a document that is recognized by restoration organizations like IICRC and RIA as ‘the Bible’ on water damage. It outlines how common structures and materials should be dried and the equipment to be used. SoloDry also uses a helpful app that asks a few questions about the size of area affected, structural materials affected, type of water, etc. and you receive the equipment that the S-500 recommends.
You need the good stuff! Only professional grade equipment will do, especially if you intend to be reimbursed by your insurance company. They will want to know that you used the proper equipment, like a restoration company would use.
